Leadership 

In times of rapid change, complexity and uncertainty the organisations that thrive are those with effective leaders at all levels of the organisation, not just the C-suite. At Being Found we view leadership as a constellation of skills, knowledge, mindsets and awareness which can be learned by anyone regardless of whether or not they hold authority conferred by a position, role or title.

A leader is an individual who can perceive challenges and opportunities on the horizon and can ask the right people the right questions to clearly define the challenge or opportunity. They are then able to collaborate with and/or influence the right people to coordinate the necessary changes.

True leaders can be unpopular because the changes they instigate often go against the grain of ‘how things are done around here’. So leaders need to be resilient, persistent and well versed in stakeholder engagement, managing their own and others emotional responses to change, working with tension and conflict, and keeping a big picture view whilst also being in the fray.
